Responsibilities

  • Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, equipment, and woodwork.
  • Clean walls, ceilings, windows, blinds, doors, and other building surfaces.
  • Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; restock supplies as needed.
  • Remove litter and debris from building grounds and surrounding areas.
  • Operate high- and low-speed floor care equipment, including stripping and buffing machines.
  • Set up tables, chairs, and equipment for hospital events and daily operations.
  • Identify and report maintenance and repair needs within assigned areas.

Sunday - Thursday, 10:45PM-7:15AM

Summary

Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary healthcare environment. Performs a variety of environmental services duties, including cleaning patient and non-patient areas, floor care, waste removal, restroom sanitation, and facility support to ensure a clean and welcoming hospital environment.

Essential Functions
