Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services worker to maintain a clean, orderly environment throughout patient areas, offices and clinics. Under supervision, you will perform routine housekeeping tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure proper waste handling and sanitation.

The position offers a stable schedule (32 hours) with 7am-3:30pm shifts, every other weekend and every other holiday. Previous cleaning experience is preferred, and on-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, orderly environment in patient areas, offices and clinics.
• Operate cleaning equipment and follow infection control practices.
• Transport linens and waste, and restock supplies as needed.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to support hospital operations and patient care.
