Job Description

Liberty Rehabilitation Hospital, a state-of-the-art, 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital owned and operated by Lifepoint Rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Aide. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows daily or as scheduled.
2. Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and shining floors; restocking restroom supplies; cleaning mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
3. Operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
4. Collecting and removing trash daily.
5. Stocking linens throughout the hospital.
6. Adhering to infection control policies and reporting safety hazards.
7. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital setting or housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
