Job summary

Anderson Rehabilitation Institute, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment across patient rooms, public areas, and offices. You will support infection control and contribute to a positive patient experience through meticulous cleaning and organization.

The role involves routine cleaning duties, inventory stocking, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred; cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily.
• Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
