Lifepoint Health’s Anderson Rehabilitation Institute in Edwardsville, IL is seeking an Environmental Services Aide for part-time day shifts. You will maintain a clean, safe hospital environment, including patient rooms and public areas, supporting infection control and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
• Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily.
• Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors.

What we're looking for

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, public areas, and offices. This role supports infection control and contributes to a positive patient experience through cleanliness and organization.

How you'll contribute

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
