Job summary

Main Line Health in Media, PA is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to clean and stock patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges and common areas across the hospital. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and a part-time evening office cleaning option; weekend and holiday rotation is required.

You will operate floor scrubbers, empty trash, remove soiled linen, and report equipment issues. A High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of housekeeping experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience with battery-operated floor scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, and common areas per standard procedures.
• Perform floor care including dry and wet mopping and burnishing as required.
• Remove trash and soiled linen; transport refuse and red waste per hospital standards.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, visitors, and co-workers; report equipment malfunctions.
• Observe and report repairs needed for hospital equipment and fixtures.

Available Positions

• Full Time 1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm
• Full Time 2nd Shift - 2:30pm-11pm
• Full Time 3rd Shift - 11pm-7:30am

• Part Time 20 hour Office Cleaner- 6:30pm-10:30pm

• Positions 20hrs/week or more are Benefits Eligible
• All positions have an Every other weekend and rotating holidays are requirement

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Previous experience using battery operated floor scrubbers, buffers and burnishers is preferred

Education

• Minimum of a High School/GED is preferred.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
