Job summary

Main Line Health in Delaware County, Radnor is looking for an Environmental Services Technician to provide cleaning and maintenance in patient rooms and facilities. Overview

Shifts

Available Shifts: First, second, and third shifts. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required for all positions. Full time and part time opportunities available. Benefits available to all positions, working 20hrs a week or more.

Why work as a Environmental Services Technician with Main Line Health?

Make an Impact! Clean and supply patient rooms, removal of soiled linen units, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, floors, public bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with hospital objectives. Floor care: dry and wet mop floors, buff floors with buffing machine, burnish floors with burnishing machine. Refuse removal: collect and transport trash, remove soiled linen and red waste (according to Main Line Health standards). Facility cleaning: wash walls, hang cubicle curtains, clean stairwells and perform any other assigned project as well as provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, visitors and co-workers. Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and report any machine malfunctions. Observe and report need for repairs of hospital equipment, furniture, fixtures, etc.

Experience
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of housekeeping experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience using battery operated floor scrubbers, buffers and burnishers is preferred
Education
  • Minimum of a High School/GED is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude is desirable
