Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems is seeking an Environmental Service Assistant to support housekeeping on the 1st shift in Newark, OH. You will perform cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, sanitary hospital environment and support patient care operations across departments.

As a full-time team member, you’ll mop floors, vacuum carpets, sanitize restrooms, and ensure supplies are stocked. LMHS emphasizes quality, safety, and community service in a caring, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED strongly preferred.
• Candidates able to complete a GED within one year of employment encouraged to apply with LMHS assistance for GED costs.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Work requires physical stamina and attention to detail.
• LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC; annual education related to specialty certifications and standards may be required.
