What You'll Do

Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all tasks on a project, from proposal to final invoice payment, are completed either by themselves or by subordinates. The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for the successful completion of the project and acts as the main client contact. The ideal candidate demonstrates a positive customer service attitude and aligns with ECS Core Values.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and support team development
• Attend project meetings and resolve technical and administrative issues
• Market services and develop the client database
• Manage project budgets, prepare change orders, and oversee financial aspects
• Schedule, train, and supervise subordinate staff
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Oversee environmental projects, resolve issues, and train field staff
• Review proposals, change orders, and environmental reports
• Perform peer reviews and lead client discussions
• Coordinate staffing and ensure project scope matches work performed
• Manage site activities, sampling, and site restoration
• Develop site work plans and manage remediation systems and underground storage tank assessments
• Support and oversee staff development

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• PE or PG license preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Extensive environmental knowledge, including regulations and test methods
• Ability to develop client relationships and manage projects independently
