Job description

Environmental Engineer/Scientist

SC&A is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer/Scientist with knowledge of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and experience in managing and performing site investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial designs. Candidates must be US Citizens, reside in the United States, and have at least five years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should hold an M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering and possess a P.E. license. The selected candidate should demonstrate the ability to effectively manage, coordinate, and communicate progress and issues related to the financial aspects of projects. This is a remote position, ideally located in the Midwest (EPA Region 5).

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Participate in site visits, data collection, and investigations related to environmental topics.
2. Review technical and program documents and applications.
3. Perform environmental calculations based on provided methodologies.
4. Communicate with regulators on compliance issues.
5. Interact with clients.
6. Travel up to 30% may be required.
