Job summary

Langan is seeking an Environmental Scientist within the Natural Resources group to join its Bethlehem, PA team. The role focuses on natural resource planning, assessment and permitting for land development and infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across diverse geographic areas, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to landmark projects while working in the field up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Botany, or related discipline required.
• Familiarity with GIS software and regulatory permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assists with natural resource planning, assessment and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects.
• Performs natural resource and permitting compliance assessments and analyzes data.
• Prepares natural resource assessments and figures using GIS and AutoCAD.
• Uses reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photos to assess natural resources and impacts on planning and design.
• Provides field inspection and natural resource identification services as needed.
• Performs other duties as requested.
