Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory in Saint Paul, MN. The role involves hands-on analysis to ensure the integrity and quality of environmental data that impacts communities and ecosystems.

You will work Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with compensation at $22.00 per hour. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related STEM field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field or equivalent
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment and use PPE provided by Pace
• Willingness to perform hands-on environmental testing

Responsibilities

• Operate instruments (GC, HPLC, ICP) and other lab equipment
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples for environmental contaminants
• Review and interpret analytical results and document findings
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and calibrate instruments
• Support routine lab duties and safety practices
