Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is an entry-level technical support role performing field, sampling, and recordkeeping tasks under direct supervision across environmental media areas. Responsibilities include routine inspections and data recording for compliance in waste/hazmat systems.

Qualifications include 0–2 years of related experience, a high school or bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of satellite accumulation areas, central accumulation areas, POL/tank areas and record findings.
  • Enter compliance data into government systems of record (e.g., waste/hazmat management and inventory systems).
  • Assist with hazardous waste labeling, accumulation, manifesting, and scheduled waste pickups.
  • Perform field sampling (water, stormwater) and collect data for reports.
  • Assist with supply and PPE inventory, spill-kit stocking, and general field support.
