LaBella Associates is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Engineer to join our Environmental group in Brooklyn, NY. The role includes field work across NYC, soil/groundwater sampling, data collection, and report preparation, with oversight of projects and mentoring of staff.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering, have 0–5 years of relevant experience, and possess a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, with experience in AutoCAD or ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering.
• 0-5 years of experience in a related local environmental position.
• 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS is required.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform field work within the 5-boroughs and NYC metropolitan area.
• Perform soil, soil vapor, and groundwater sampling.
• Oversee field activities and drilling on construction projects.
• Prepare deliverables on time and within budget.
• Mentor environmental staff and support project teams.
