APTIM is seeking a full-time Geologist or Environmental Scientist in Lubbock or Midland, Texas, with expertise in environmental site investigations and remedial actions.

The role includes field sampling, Phase I/II assessments, permitting support, and reporting for regulatory agencies, with 30-40% travel and outdoor work. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of experience are required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology, Hydrology, or related scientific field.
• 2–5 years of applicable experience.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Occasional overnight travel and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support to clients in environmental site characterization, monitoring, permitting, regulatory reporting, Phase I/Phase II due diligence, and construction.
• Collects and interprets soil, groundwater, and air samples.
• Executes field work, manages project schedule and budget, and supervises contractors.
• Drafts technical documents for regulatory agencies and clients.
• Ensures compliance with technical standards and company policies.
