Tetra Tech in Austin, TX is seeking a Mid-Level Geologist/Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental team. You will contribute to geological and environmental work tied to oil and gas projects, including due diligence, site assessment, remediation, and reporting, under supervision.

The position emphasizes attention to detail, sound judgment, and initiative, with projects primarily in New Mexico and adherence to state and federal regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in geology or a related area.
• Entry‑level up to three (0‑3) years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Earth, and Adobe Acrobat software.
• Must be able to work effectively with other technical professionals.
• Clean driving record is a must.

Responsibilities

• Review, comprehension, and completion of work scopes.
• Perform project tasks on public and private sector environmental projects.
• Assist in preparation of subcontract documents, work plans and reports under direction of senior engineers and scientists.
• Assist in data tabulation and evaluation.
• Assist with technical writing reports and preparation.
