Job summary

APTIM is seeking a Junior Geologist/Environmental Scientist located in the Austin, Texas area for a remote position. You will conduct environmental site investigations and remedial actions, including fieldwork and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 2-4 years of experience, and strong communication skills. The position offers a salary range of $50K to $70K, depending on experience and location.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in environmental site assessment and report preparation.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) certification preferred.
• Current HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients on environmental site characterization and monitoring.
• Collect and interpret soil, groundwater, and air samples.
• Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Investigations.
