Weston & Sampson currently seeks an Environmental Scientist/Geologist with 0–3 years of experience to join the EGE discipline at our Rockey Hill, CT office. The role offers hybrid work with office/field components, and growth opportunities within a collaborative team of environmental scientists, engineers, and geologists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or another related field.
• 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) and annual refresher training.
• 0 to 3 years of experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Willingness to travel for field work and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Conduct Phase I/II/III Environmental Site Assessments per ASTM and local guidance.
• Provide oversight and collect samples during drilling, well installations, and remedial activities.
• Collect samples for field screening and/or lab analysis (air, soil, groundwater, water).
• Manage analytical data (tabulation, evaluation, QA/QC).
• Prepare plans/maps/boring logs and assist with work plans and reports.
• Assist field assignments for other disciplines as needed.
