Job summary

AMT is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Scientist for our Rockville, MD office with a Hybrid schedule. The role includes fieldwork, technical document preparation, and drafting and construction document development, along with cost estimating and environmental site inspections.

Candidates should have a B.S. degree preferred and 1–5 years of progressive experience in wetlands delineations, vegetation assessments, NEPA studies, and report writing.

AMT is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Scientist to assume a key role in the firm’s growing Rockville, MD office.

Excellent Work / Life Balance and opportunity to work a Hybrid (Combination of Office and Remote) schedule.

• Performing fieldwork
• Technical document preparation
• Drafting and construction document preparation
• Cost estimating and environmental site inspections
• B.S. degree preferred
• 1-5 years of progressive experience with wetlands delineations, tree and vegetative assessments, NEPA studies, CAD design, report writing.
• Willingness to travel overnight
• Ability to perform moderately physically demanding tasks outdoors.
