Job summary

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a Geotechnical and Environmental consulting firm seeking an Environmental Professional. Responsibilities include field sampling of soil, groundwater, and vapor, and performing Phase I/II ESAs.

The role emphasizes data analysis, report preparation, and staying current with regulations. A Bachelor's degree in Environmental science/engineering/geology with 1–4+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 1-4+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field sampling of soil, groundwater, and vapor per project requirements and guidelines.
• Perform environmental due diligence including Phase I and Phase II ESAs.
• Analyze and interpret field data, lab results, and history for technical reports.
• Prepare accurate technical reports adhering to guidelines.
• Stay updated with current regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field sampling activities including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling as per project requirements and regulatory guidelines;
• Conduct environmental due diligence assessments including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments;
• Analyze and interpret field data, laboratory results, and historical information to support the preparation of technical reports;
• Prepare accurate and concise technical reports adhering to established guidelines; and
• Stay up to date with current regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field;
• 1-4+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; and
• Professional certifications a plus.

Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Salary Range: $60,000 USD - $80,000 USD
