Job summary

Weaver Consultants Group invites applications for an entry-level Environmental Scientist/Air Quality Specialist in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist in data entry, report writing, and client liaison while learning regulatory frameworks across multiple states and federal programs.

Responsibilities include evaluating data for compliance with MSW landfill regulations, preparing GHG inventories, and supporting inspections and sampling activities at landfills.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science or related field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into spreadsheets and evaluate compliance with state and federal regulations for Municipal Solid Waste Landfills.
• Compile and write reports for various landfills to meet regulatory requirements.
• Communicate daily with coworkers about findings affecting regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate landfill gas flare data and extraction well data for regulatory compliance.
• Complete annual GHG and Emission Inventory calculations and reports.
• Attend Air Compliance Inspections at landfills.
• Perform Tier 2 sampling and flare testing at landfills.

Weaver Consultants Group, LLC (WCG) is currently looking to fill a position within their Landfill Gas/Air Quality Department in Fort Worth, Texas. The position is for an entry level Environmental Scientist/Air Quality Specialist. As an Environmental Scientist/Air Quality specialist your strong oral and written communication skills will be invaluable for your liaison with clients and regulatory agencies. We'll depend on you to evaluate data for compliance with both state and federal regulatory requirements and to complete and submit reports within mandated timeframes.
