HDR is seeking an environmental compliance professional to support Alaska solid waste projects. You will conduct field work, including groundwater sampling, surface water sampling, and landfill gas monitoring, and assist with permit applications and technical studies.
This full-time role is based in Anchorage, Alaska, and requires collaboration with project managers, clients, and subject matter experts, plus a commitment to high-quality deliverables and safe field work in remote conditions.

The successful candidate will provide environmental compliance support for Alaska solid waste projects but could also be assigned to projects in other market sectors in and outside of Alaska. Specific responsibilities will include:
Conduct field work: groundwater sampling,surface water sampling, and landfill gas monitoring and sampling.
Support solid waste permit applications, including writing and reviewing technical work products (environmentat documents and technical studies).
Work with project managers, clients, and subject matter experts for permitting needs.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to exemplary quality standards for professional practice and deliverables. Candidates must have field work experience and be able to work safely and efficiently in remote outdoor settings in Alaska under a variety of weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work cooperatively with professionals from other disciplines, clients, project managers, business development professionals, and operational leadership. This is a full-time position based in Anchorage, Alaska.
