Job summary

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only networking event in Arlington, VA, for Environmental Science interns. The event features a networking mixer and interviews at the Arlington office, offering early career exposure and guidance from AECOM staff across multiple projects.

The internship is based in the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, MD, VA) with a hybrid work schedule. Start is May/June 2027 and involves field and office work to develop environmental career skills and professional connections.

Qualifications

• Completed at least two years of study in environmental science or related field.
• Be able to commute to office location at least 3 days per week.
• Be available to travel to job sites when requested; valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist field ecological surveys and data collection.
• Support field data sheets and reports writing.
• Coordinate with agencies regarding survey protocols and reporting standards.
