Job summary

Ecological Biological Assessment is seeking an Environmental Scientist to conduct ecological surveys, analyze biological data, and prepare detailed reports for environmental planning and management. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ecological assessments or environmental consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional ecosystems and species identification.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys to assess ecological conditions and habitats.
  • Analyze and interpret biological data to evaluate environmental impacts.
  • Develop survey methodologies aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations with findings and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and team members to meet project objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Contribute to environmental impact assessments and permitting processes.
  • Assist in developing new assessment techniques and monitoring tools.
