Job summary

Ardurra is seeking an Ecological Scientist Intern to join our Orlando team, supporting ecological and environmental projects under the supervision of senior ecologists. This role offers hands-on fieldwork, data collection, and exposure to regulatory processes.

You will assist with wetlands and habitat evaluations, environmental permitting tasks, and preparing technical documents, while gaining experience in project documentation and client-facing work within an environmental consulting

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or related field is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to learn ecological processes and work with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Collects and documents field data and prepares field notes.
• Assists in preparing technical memoranda and environmental reports.
• Supports wetlands and habitat evaluations and regulatory permitting tasks.
• Reviews project documentation and drawings within defined limits.
• Performs basic GIS/GPS data collection and assists in processing field data.
• Collaborates with project managers, ecologists, and engineers to support project deliverables.
