Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Denver, CO, to support Environmental Services projects. You will assist with filing, data entry, data analysis, and presentation preparation, contributing to continuous improvement and solutions for project concerns.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field, strong communication, and the ability to work legally in the US. Internship involves travel and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, or a related field from a recognized, accredited program required.
  • Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with tasks that may include filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and Power Point presentation.
  • Assist with responses to general questions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Present solutions to concerns.
  • Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
