Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Client Services Technician in Austin, TX to join the sample receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory. This entry level role provides training to handle client samples and support lab operations.

You'll drive to client sites, unload samples, triage and assemble kits, with PPE provided. Pace offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in environmental science.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, work around strong smells, and wear PPE while handling samples.
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client offices and job sites to pick up samples and drop off supplies.
• Unload and receive client samples.
• Triage client samples.
• Determine what type of samples are received.
• Unpack and repack coolers for shipment to other labs.
• Assemble client sample kits according to guidelines and instructions.
• Maintain and stock supplies to meet client sample kit demands.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the office.
