Job summary

Onterris is seeking a Full-Time Sample Control Technician I for our Orange, CA laboratory. You will handle samples, maintain records, and support lab operations to ensure timely, accurate results for clients.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, is capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and can work safely in a laboratory environment with potential hazards. Training will cover SOPs, safety plans, and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs and stay stationary during shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive environmental samples and document according to SOPs.
• Enter data into LIMS and manage sample custody records.
• Label, store and manage sample containers and equipment.
• Assist in sample preparation, field sampling, and daily scheduling.
• Maintain safety and quality programs and follow QA/Health & Safety plans.
