Job summary

Honda’s Environmental/Safety/Sustainability Co-op/Intern program invites students to participate in Summer 2027 sessions across multiple sites, including Greensboro, NC. Roles cover EH&S, environmental compliance, sustainability, and manufacturing safety, with a strong emphasis on safety audits, regulatory compliance, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• GPA minimum 2.5 cumulative; transcript required.
• Class status: Sophomore or higher.
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a related field such as Environmental Science, OHS, IH, or Chemical Engineering.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable daily transportation.
• Co-ops require in-person attendance and transportation planning.

Responsibilities

• Support safety compliance activities and documentation for OSHA/NFPA/ANSI.
• Conduct safety-related evaluations and assist with hazard identification.
• Assist with environmental compliance testing, reporting, and records.
• Support carbon sustainability, lifecycle assessments, and data analysis projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple Honda sites.

Skills
