Job summary

Leidos' NISC IV Program seeks an Environmental & Safety Professional to support the FAA EOSH program in the Central Service Area, with a work location in Houston, TX. The role blends fieldwork with technical reporting, focusing on compliance, safety, and sustainability of the national airspace system.

You will conduct inspections, assess hazards, deliver training, prepare reports, manage data, and collaborate with FAA stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on environmental, health, and safety experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust suitability.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and program assessment skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support FAA EOSH programs across multiple disciplines and conduct sampling.
• Perform site inspections, identify risks, and prepare technical reports.
• Manage inspection data and maintain organized documentation.
• Deliver training that connects technical content to real-world scenarios.
• Coordinate travel for field assignments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Research and interpret federal, state, local, and FAA regulations.
