Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an Environmental / Safety Management Specialist to ensure all required quality and safety training, and reporting are performed per federal, state, and local requirements. The role will develop, manage, and report on quality and safety, and host safety education events for employees.

Responsibilities include conducting safety surveys, preparing reports, and facilitating Safety Committee meetings. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and oral communication.
• Able to read, write, and comprehend safety instructions.
• Proficient Microsoft Office productivity suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate safety training programs.
• Perform safety and environmental surveys and inspections; prepare reports.
• Conduct post-accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing quality and safety policies in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Advise on safety compliance and training across the site.
