Job summary

National Environmental Group in Flint, Michigan is seeking a Project Manager to oversee environmental remediation projects from planning through completion, coordinating field crews, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure safe, timely delivery.

You will work with clients, site personnel, and leadership, bringing a strong construction background to commercial and industrial projects. Remediation experience is valued and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in construction, including commercial/industrial
• Experience working on construction jobsites and coordinating field activities
• Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management or related field
• Familiarity with construction scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project)

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and industrial environmental remediation projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate project manpower, field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and equipment to meet schedules
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining relationships and communicating progress
• Assist with project estimating, budgeting, cost tracking, and financial management
• Oversee jobsite activities with field supervisors to ensure work meets requirements and safety standards
• Develop and maintain project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor milestones
• Lead project meetings and provide progress updates to General Management
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and permits
• Identify and resolve scheduling, staffing, or material issues impacting projects
• Maintain project documentation and support successful project closeout
