Job summary

Partner Company in the United States is seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager to lead investigation, remediation, and compliance projects for diverse clients. You will oversee proposals through closeout, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety, schedule, budgets, and regulatory alignment, and foster client relationships.

You will mentor junior staff, support business development, and travel periodically to project sites and regulatory meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental-related field
• Approximately 6–10 years of progressive experience managing environmental consulting projects
• Understanding of CERCLA, RCRA, Brownfields, PFAS investigations, and corrective action requirements
• Experience managing site characterization, groundwater investigations, corrective actions, remediation systems, or environmental restoration projects
• Familiarity with Michigan EGLE regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and balance client expectations, technical requirements, schedules, budgets, and profitability
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Lead site investigation, remediation and restoration projects from initial proposals through final closeout
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, quality, health and safety, profitability, and financial performance
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of environmental scientists, geologists, engineers, field staff, and subcontractors
• Oversee Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, site characterization, remedial investigations, feasibility evaluations, groundwater monitoring, corrective action programs, remediation systems, and environmental restoration activities
• Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local environmental requirements including Michigan EGLE
• Build client and stakeholder relationships and serve as primary contact for clients and agencies
• Identify risks early and prepare or review technical reports, work plans, cost estimates, schedules, and client presentations
• Support proposals, technical approaches, cost estimates, and profitability planning while identifying follow-on opportunities
• Mentor junior professionals and promote safety and technical excellence
• Maintain financial targets and support timely invoicing and cost control
