Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Project Manager in Michigan to lead Brownfield redevelopment efforts, oversee environmental site assessments, remediation, and redevelopment, while ensuring regulatory and client satisfaction. This role involves coordinating across engineers, scientists, planners, and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include advising on redevelopment incentives, managing budgets and schedules, and driving business development

Qualifications

• Five years of project management experience (site redevelopment preferred).
• Experience with Brownfield redevelopment and/or environmental remediation.
• Knowledge of Phase I/II assessments and remediation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage Brownfield redevelopment projects from site assessment to construction.
• Advise clients and municipalities on redevelopment incentives.
• Ensure compliance with EPA, CERCLA, and state Brownfield programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, local governments, and consultants.
• Develop project proposals and manage budgets, costs, and schedules.
• Identify risks, define tasks and resources, and oversee QA/QC goals.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, planners, and contractors.
• Maintain ongoing client communication and manage billing and collections.
• Identify additional scope and revenue opportunities and participate in business development.
• Mentor staff and build strong client relationships.
