Job summary

WSP is hiring an Environmental Remediation Project Manager/Office Manager for the Rifle, CO team. The role covers remedial design, field investigations, contaminated site management, data analysis and staff oversight.

Primary responsibility includes overseeing Rifle office operations, coordinating with portfolio leads, and ensuring timely delivery of projects in the oil and gas sector. Travel to sites in western Colorado and surrounding states is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field (PG/PE license preferred).
• 7–10+ years of environmental consulting and/or project management experience.
• Experience with project financial tracking and change management.
• CAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS experience a plus.
• Excel or similar for numerical tracking and analysis.
• Proven leadership, organized, multi-discipline team management, QA/QC adherence.
• Willingness to travel ~10% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Managers with duties as necessary.
• Coordinate weekly scheduling meetings.
• Assist project teams with multiple projects as requested.
• Provide support to staff on processes, requirements, and contract compliance.
• Develop and review proposals, cost estimates and technical reports for regulatory agencies.
• Oversee field staff and manage field equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and project schedule.
• Lead and mentor geologists, engineers and environmental scientists.
