Job summary

Roux is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer to design and implement technical services for client projects, including field and office tasks and project management support for traditional assessment and remediation efforts.

Responsibilities include field coordination, data review, reporting, budgeting, and staff mentoring, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and effective communication.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years in environmental consulting with progression in site investigation/remediation.
• Strong ability to design field programs, manage projects and field activities, and budget/subcontractor handling.
• Experience with data evaluation, reporting, and regulatory requirements; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Field Coordination and Management: supervise field activities and coordinate personnel to implement project plans.
• Technical Data Review and Report Preparation: collect, review data, and prepare findings and remediation recommendations.
• Project Management: monitor schedules, budgets, and invoicing to meet client requirements.
• Staff Mentoring and Training: develop junior staff and collaborate with management for growth.
