Job summary

JBW Federal is seeking a qualified environmental professional to support CERCLA remediation projects at a California site. You will review technical documents, coordinate with regulators, and help manage meetings, plans, and summaries with a focus on regulatory compliance.

You will also assist in community outreach, stakeholder coordination, and ensure alignment with budgets, scopes, and schedules. A 4-year degree and 5 years of restoration experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in environmental sciences, management, or engineering ( Master’s preferred ).
• At least 5 years in managing or supporting an environmental restoration program.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher preferred.
• Self-starter with strong problem solving and regulatory knowledge.
• Familiarity with federal and state environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical review of CERCLA remediation project documents and oversee delivery.
• Manage meetings with regulatory agencies and develop clear agendas and summaries.
• Support community outreach actions and coordinate with local agencies and stakeholders.
• Align work activities with related project aspects and participate in assigned tasks.
