Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in North Dakota is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to drive cleanup projects, lead teams, and ensure safety and quality on site and in the office.

You will collaborate with subcontractors, regulators, and clients, analyze data, prepare technical reports, design pilot studies, and mentor project staff as part of our hybrid work model. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in environmental-related fields, plus experience in site investigation/remediation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, environmental science, geology, or related technical field.
• Experience in environmental projects including site investigation and/or remediation, subcontractor oversight, and leading project teams.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects: plan, staff, schedule, and budget while ensuring safety and quality.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, internal staff, and subject matter experts.
• Perform data analysis, prepare technical reports, and design pilot studies and remedial systems.
• Engage with clients and regulators, present information, and discuss site management strategies.
• Provide motivation and direction to project teams and seek mentorship opportunities.
