Job summary
Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Waste Management Program Lead to develop and implement the Plains United States Waste Management Program. You will collaborate with corporate and field teams to execute remediation strategies and ensure regulatory compliance.
The role requires 5+ years of experience in hazardous and non-hazardous waste regulations, program development, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Travel to project sites nationwide is expected, up to 15%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field required or preferred
- 5+ years of experience with state and federal hazardous/non-hazardous waste regulations in the U.S. (RCRA, DOT, EPCRA, CERCLA)
- Experience managing remediation projects and working with regulatory agencies
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve the Waste Management Program for Plains United States
- Collaborate with stakeholders on program execution and remediation strategies
- Manage remediation projects from assessment through regulatory closure
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
- Coordinate with regulators, landowners, consultants, and internal partners
- Provide training materials and regular program status updates to management
