Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC, including its CCS division, seeks a Department Manager – Environmental Remediation & Emergency Response. This leadership role combines operational oversight, technical remediation expertise, and financial accountability to drive safe, compliant, and profitable performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 5+ years in environmental remediation or related field operations.
• 3+ years leading field crews and projects.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and training skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily remediation operations across the regional service area.
• Manage department budget, P&L, forecasts and change orders.
• Develop estimates, bids, scopes and quotes; obtain approvals.
• Coordinate with customers and regional operations for business growth.
• Oversee self-performed work and subcontractors for safety, schedule and cost.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for UST removal and decommissioning.
• Coordinate Emergency Response and 24/7 spill readiness.
• Maintain training/certifications and ensure safety programs.
