Job summary

Pacific Northern Environmental LLC (PNE) seeks a Department Manager for Environmental Remediation & Emergency Response to lead CCS operations with hands‑on leadership, technical expertise, and financial accountability. The role will own the department P&L, develop estimates and bids, and drive project profitability across the Pacific Northwest.

The incumbent will coordinate with regional managers, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships while overseeing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required in environmental science, geology, construction management, business, or related field.
• Five (5) or more years in environmental remediation, industrial environmental services, or closely related field operations.
• Three (3) years of experience managing field crews and projects with proven productivity, cost, and safety improvements.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication skills; client relationship management and business development.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily remediation operations and workflow across the regional service area to ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and high‑quality execution.
• Own the department budget and P&L, including forecasts, revenue goals, cost controls, and performance reporting.
• Develop estimates, bids, scopes, and quotes; approve work within delegated authority and escalate as needed.
• Plan and schedule labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to execute projects successfully.
• Oversee remediation work plans, sampling activities, agency coordination, and closure documentation.
