Job summary

Suterra in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Regulatory & Environmental Compliance Analyst to join our Global Regulatory Affairs team. The role focuses on federal and state regulatory requirements, environmental reporting, and product compliance in a collaborative manufacturing setting.

This full-time, onsite position requires relocation if not local and offers growth through working with Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure regulatory requirements are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or related field.
• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, or related fields.
• Experience with federal/state regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA, DEQ, ODA or similar).
• Experience supporting environmental reporting, permitting, inspections, or compliance documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain environmental reports required by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
• Support environmental permitting and compliance activities (waste management, air emissions, hazardous materials, and chemical reporting).
• Assist with regulatory submissions, product registrations, renewals, and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain permits, certifications, regulatory files, and compliance records.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate potential impacts to the business.
• Support regulatory inspections, agency requests, and audits.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to embed regulatory requirements into daily operations.
• Assist in developing compliance procedures and training materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve regulatory processes and strengthen programs.
