Job summary

Suterra, a leader in sustainable agricultural solutions, seeks a Regulatory & Environmental Compliance Analyst to support day‑to‑day regulatory and environmental compliance for our products, facilities, and operations. This onsite role collaborates with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure safe and responsible operations.

The ideal candidate brings a relevant science degree and 2–5 years of experience with regulatory agencies and environmental reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or a related scientific field.
Approximately 2–5 years of experience in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, EHS, environmental consulting, manufacturing compliance, or a related field.
Experience working with or preparing documentation for federal and/or state regulatory agencies such as EPA, OSHA, DEQ, ODA, or similar agencies.
Experience supporting environmental reporting, permitting, inspections, or compliance documentation.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain environmental reports required by federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
Support environmental permitting and compliance activities, including waste management, air emissions, hazardous materials, and chemical reporting.
Assist with regulatory submissions, product registrations, renewals, and regulatory documentation.
Maintain permits, certifications, regulatory files, and compliance records.
Monitor changes in environmental and regulatory requirements and communicate potential impacts to the business.
Support regulatory inspections, agency requests, and internal and external audits.
Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure regulatory requirements are incorporated into daily operations.
Assist in developing compliance procedures, documentation, and employee training materials.
Identify opportunities to improve regulatory processes and strengthen compliance programs.
