Job summary

Illinois Environmental Protection Agency seeks an Environmental Protection Engineer III to perform detailed technical reviews of plans and specifications for water treatment facilities, water main extensions, and storage projects within the Public Water Supplies Permit Program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering science as specified.
• Two years of professional engineering experience in engineering fields listed above.
• Two years of experience reviewing or preparing plans and specifications for public water supply treatment systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Two years of experience determining regulatory compliance of public water supply permit applications.
