Job summary

Terracon in Houston, TX seeks an Environmental Project Specialist to lead site investigations, sampling, and assessments ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will design remediation strategies, prepare permits, and contribute to risk assessments and proposals.

Responsibilities include managing scopes, budgets, and schedules; performing fieldwork; supporting NPDES/TPDES programs; and creating SPCC/SWP3 plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental projects, prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Perform field work, site investigations, and surveys for regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to regulatory compliance projects under CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, CAA, and related statutes.
• Support stormwater monitoring, inspections, and water resources studies (NPDES/TPDES).
• Prepare permit applications and technical documents including SPCC and SWP3 plans.
