Terracon is seeking an experienced environmental project manager to oversee all aspects of small to medium environmental engineering projects. The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence, with responsibilities extending to coordinating with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.

Required is a technical bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience, with PE or PG certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology required or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ related experience; 9 years if no degree
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong project management, budgeting, scheduling and client communication abilities
• Commitment to safety and quality management practices
• Experience coordinating with internal departments and external vendors

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of environmental engineering projects to ensure safety, on-time completion within scope and budget
• Develop and communicate project plans, schedules and budgets
• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with approved safety plans
• Coordinate resources, including calculations, designs, reports and work specifications
• Prepare and present progress reports to clients and project teams
• Coordinate with APR and accounting for oversight, invoicing and collections
• Lead risk assessment and promote continuous quality improvement
