Environmental Project Manager - Marlborough, MA

KOMAN Government Solutions is seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager to support our Northeastern US operations based in Marlborough, MA. The successful candidate will oversee environmental investigation, remediation, O&M, and LTM projects for Federal clients.

The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of environmental remediation systems and processes, such as air sparging, soil vapor extraction, in situ injections (chemical and biological), groundwater pump and treat (carbon and ion exchange), soil removal/capping, and landfill cap maintenance. They should have a proven track record of managing environmental projects for Federal customers, be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, resourceful, and capable of working under multiple deadlines. Leadership qualities are essential to guide staff effectively.

  • Salary range: $100k-$130k, competitive.
  • Benefits commence the first month after hire, including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, critical illness, hospitalization, pet insurance, and identity theft protection.
  • Company-paid life insurance (1X salary), short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • Provide technical support for remediation systems, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Coordinate with operators, staff, clients, and subcontractors to ensure effective system operation, staff development, project implementation, and emergency response.
  • Develop technical approaches and cost estimates for projects and proposals.
  • Ensure safety and quality control compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Professional registration (PE or PG) preferred or ability to obtain.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, including project management.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and 8-hour refresher.
