Job summary

Apex Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead and grow environmental projects across multiple sites in the US. You will manage budgets, develop new work, and oversee deliverables from technical reports to proposals while mentoring junior staff.

You'll guide due diligence efforts, deliver marketing presentations, and ensure safety and quality on all project activities. This role offers performance-based bonuses and a strong national platform with extensive resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 8+ years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and MCP report preparation under an LSP.
• Strong technical writing and oversight skills.
• Experience with business development and project management.
• Mentoring and training junior staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage cumulative project total $400K annually and achieve profitability goals.
• Develop $300K in new project work annually.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Provide Due Diligence technical guidance to junior personnel.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
• Hire and manage subcontractors; mentor scientific staff and ensure quality work.
• Ensure safe performance of project work.
• Review Phase 1 reports and write Phase 2 proposals and reports.
