Job summary

HRP Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist Project Manager to join our Greenville, SC office and support our Site Investigation and Remediation practice.

This role focuses on project leadership for field teams, coordinating groundwater, soil, and soil vapor investigations, and overseeing inspections and abatement projects for asbestos, mold, and lead-based paint. Qualified candidates will have a 5+ years background in environmental consulting, strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geology, environmental science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Demonstrated experience with site investigation and remediation.
• Strong field skills and proficiency in groundwater and soil investigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hazardous materials experience for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold.
• PG or PE license preferred (not required).
• Ability to travel locally for field assignments and work outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Project management and leadership for field staff and collaboration.
• Budget, coordinate and conduct groundwater, soil, and soil vapor investigations.
• Budget, coordinate and conduct inspections and abatement projects for asbestos, mold, lead-based paint.
• Assist with design, implementation, and optimization of remediation systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver high-quality environmental solutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Due diligence reporting and quality control.
