Job summary

HydroGeoLogic, Inc is seeking an Environmental Project Manager II to lead large-scale, multi-year environmental remediation projects from Reston, VA. You will manage CERCLA and RCRA driven work for federal and state clients, coordinate budgets and schedules, and guide project teams to meet quality expectations.

The role requires experience with environmental data analysis, technical reporting, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of project management experience on EPA, DoD, and/or DOE investigations/remediation projects regulated by CERCLA and/or RCRA.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related environmental field.
• Strong technical writing, organizational, and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to support fieldwork, data management, and report preparation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools.
• Experience with CERCLA process and phases; Superfund exposure is a plus; ability to learn new digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage CERCLA-regulated remediation projects and field investigations at hazardous waste sites.
• Develop project budgets based on scope and schedules to meet milestones.
• Direct, manage, and lead project teams to achieve objectives and quality expectations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, team members, and management.
• Analyze and interpret environmental data; review and author technical reports.
• Procure subcontractors, develop cost estimates, and oversee field teams.
• Manage project risks and mitigation strategies; support business development.
